Professional Background:

From 1977 to 1981, Mr. Hamdan Abdulaziz Al Hamdan was a Managing Director and a Partner in Sun Ace Gulf Co, a joint venture company with the Japanese Group which produces Chemical Additives for Plastic Industries. From1981 to 1988, Mr. Hamdan became the Director of the Economic Development Department in the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, which plans and manages Petrochemicals and Energy intensive industrial cities.

From 1988 to 1989, he was an Executive Manager of Saudi Export Development Center in the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry. His scope of tasks included policies recommendations plus the implementation of programs necessary to promote and develop national exports. From 1990 to1995, Mr. Hamdan was appointed as the President of Saudi Industrial Export Company (SIEC), a joint stock company that is specialized in marketing the Saudi products internationally, by providing a wide range of trade services including shipping, trade finance, and sourcing raw material to national industries.
